Faith plays a major role in the lives of many Americans. Unfortunately for many Americans living with HIV, faith communities can turn from a place of refuge to a source of stigma and turmoil.
In recognition of National Faith HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, AIDS Foundation Chicago (AFC) and Toward Pride are proud to present this virtual conversation to unite spiritual resolve with public health goals in our efforts to end the HIV epidemic. This webinar invites faith leaders and communities impacted by HIV to take active steps toward education, compassion, and prevention. Together, we can heal hearts and end HIV stigma—with faith leading the way.
The webinar will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 5:30 pm-6:30 p.m. CST. Interested participants must register to receive access to the webinar. Sessions will be highly interactive, with time for audience Q&A and will be recorded.
This webinar is designed for people living with and vulnerable to HIV, faith leaders, advocates, and members of the community. For more information about the webinar, please contact AFC’s Senior Director of Policy and Advocacy Timothy Jackson via email at tjackson@aidschicago.org.
