Dr. Eugene Downing is a community leader and advocate committed to creating spaces where people can show up fully as themselves. With a background in pastoral leadership and community engagement, Eugene brings a people-centered approach to his work, helping individuals navigate identity, belonging, and personal growth.

As a Black gay leader, Eugene draws on both lived experience and years of community work to support more inclusive and affirming environments. His work is grounded in the belief that institutions and communities can evolve to better serve people, ensuring everyone has access to spaces where they feel seen, supported, and valued.
