Don Abram is a Chicago-based social innovator and founder of Toward Pride, leading work that advances the well-being of Black LGBTQ+ communities through partnerships with civic, cultural, and community institutions. His work has been featured in outlets including NPR, Chicago Tribune, and ABC7 Chicago.

A graduate of Pomona College and Harvard Divinity School, Don has been recognized for his leadership and impact, including serving on Mayor Brandon Johnson’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Council and being named one of Native Son’s 2023 honorees.
